So is Mouse on Mars touring with Vert, then? I deleted the original message
after noting (with glee) the Portland dates (yes, that's where I'm from, and
where I'll be for five more months). Damn... if that's right, that should be
quite a nice show. If Portland's local venue can open it up with the
Knockout Drops, that could be pretty much ideal (although Blonde Redhead w/
the Need was the best live bit I've seen in a couple years, hands down, and
will be hard to top).
Speaking of the Knockout Drops, though-- I'm sure anyone who saw them open
for Mouse on Mars last time in PDX (or playing a couple gigs at Medicine
Hat) could verify that they're the shit, but does anybody know if they've
laid down any wax? I tried looking them up on the net, but all I got was a
punk/ska band, and I haven't seen the vocalist/keyboardist behind the bar at
Fellini lately. Takers?
